Not just an average hotrod show! Lotsa pics...

The annual Hot Rod And Rock Show took place in Tampere, Finland this weekend. The quality of deputed hotrods was stunning. You judge, here's the photos:



Some difficulties in the beginning as normal, sleet falling down…

Hamber AULIZ`s during the previous night finished all steel Deuce with 409.





Auliz´s Coupe was pinstriped during Saturday, dig the color choice.





Platu’s great selection of magazines around the world, including the Primer of course.





Tommi´s fiber-bodied lakes Coupe made its first public appearance.




Pinstriper Jussi Alasalmi´s tribute to the Copperhead.

 

This beautiful shoebox was bought to Finland recently.






Nicely floating lines in this chopped and flaked ´50 Fleetline.








Nailhead equipped Hudson Roadster in blue flake.







One of the best cars in the show, Swedish 36-Ford taildragger with skirts and LaSalle grill.

Tomi Kangas from Lapua, Finland brought two last winter built and highly finished hotrods to the show, among them there was two choppers built by Tomi!













LOUDpipe´s Coupe has been repainted under new ownership, still dig the proportions.








Marko Tuunanen´s hand-built RPU was recently finished and highly finished as well, very cool.

 

Another steel-bodied 3W-Deuce. First-time deputed Roadster on the background.








KARTSA`s Sledanette is getting better each winter, now with superb interior!








This low 54-Chevy was kept as a fourdoor, several modifications can be noticed.






A nice pair of Swedish Model A’s.







Pekka Vaisto’s original ol´Henry’s steel bodied 32 Roadster was chosen the hotrod of the year last year here in Finland.





Janne Kutja was busy the whole weekend selling the coolest art of the scene.

Pekka_Wizzard striping a Harley fender, dig his style a lot! I asked him to pose even though he seemed to be busy… 







Several cool bikes were shown but I won’t post photos here, they can be seen on my album.







FSRA’s stand with two Chevies, one finished and another not yet started, like the idea.

 

A gorgeous pair of 59-Chevies; El Camino and Impala Flattop in gold flake.






Not a show without scale models and art, and that’s good… IMO

WOW!!! If this is an example of the kind of hot rods you guys over there build and display you don't take a back seat to anyone. That show would rank right up there with some of the best we have here in the states.
