Just the ones in the post after...the 'attitude' post. I installed some equipment at NEC in Roseville..cool place. Dave
Yeah..... Well, that's it, folks! If you ever get a chance to go to this it is well worth it. Very freindly people that build outstanding cars...but I don't understand how, being that far away from resources. They usually have a passion for ONE thing and go at it with a vengence. Dave
how about those seats at the top of the page? are they production? i can't get the pic to copy/paste right now.
I am always fascinated by american iron overseas. As much as i wish it was still here in the states.. it is super cool that Hotrodding is alive and well around the world... More then one car in the photos I wish I could call mine..
Great pics, thanks. Especially when you consider the extra cost / time involved in trying to buy / ship parts, and the cost involved in just maintaining and driving a car outside the U.S. My daughter spent some time in Japan and I couldn't believe the cost involved in having a normal daily driver.
Like the grille and whitewalls. Sorry I didn't think to add mural and kooool name before I shipped it to Yoshie. Regards, Ron
Did every third car have a for sale sign, like you'd see at a big meet in North America? Do the North American cars sell for big bucks over there?
I see the shot of all the people spread out on the parking lot - is that the Japanese version of tail-gating? Very cool cars, it must have been a fun show, thanks for posting the pix. Dave
Dave, Did you happen to see an AMC Marlin in the crowd?? I friend of mine imported it a couple of years back. Name is Katsu, the last I heard he had a shop in the Machida area of Tokyo. He originally had the model A in entry #12, at least I think is the same car. I have pics of it before they finished it but they are on a floppy and I no longer have a reader for floppies!!!
thanks for the pictures Dave ******** here is a web site a Hambers posted a year or two ago of the mooneyes car show that you might be interested in http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2005show/05japansrn/
Gotta love the "Bluesmobile"! Complete with loudspeaker. Couple nice early Chebby bombs in the mix as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanx for the pics! Me and the Mrs. are planning a trip to Japan later this year - when's the best time to go for car shows etc? What should we keep an eye out for? nooch
Great pics, thanks! My lil bro is getting stationed at Kadina AFB in a couple of months, how far is that from Tokyo?
