not sayin i could do better, but then again im smart enough to not try yet... but back window is too low, chop doesnt follow contour of the trunk at all, just looks squished... this is why most people should never chop a shoebox... even goin for a 6-9 chop you were lookin for troubles and missed proportions...

why does everyone have to be drastic and cartoony? where did the days of a nice 3" chop go????

ps- not tryin to take cheap shots or anything, but you did ask opinions..

Cut the window out and move it up about 6 to 7 inches.... and then go get a trunk from a '48 Buick and graft it inbetween the rear fins.

I like it. I don't think that the rear window is too low from a styling standpoint. Of course, you probably won't be able to see out of it but as long as you have left and right outside mirrors I don't see it to be a problem. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I'm wondering if there is a curve in the A-pillar that could cause trouble with installing the windshield glass.

  18. WTF! Were you pissed when you cut it? Looks great, but kinda low.

You mentioned you had a Ford, sawsall, tape, welder and a ipod, you left out one important factor....balls. To do a first chop. Looks good.

A fastback Buick or Chevy Fleetline trunklid in between the quarters of this thing would look fantastic with the sweeping top chop, a real faastback Shoebox. I'd imagine that'd be a bit of work, but what a result it would have! A photoshop would really help, but I think Hemi might be on to something.

It is certainly an extreme chop, but I do like it, looks like it's very well done. Would like to see it outside in full views from different angles.

I agree..needs an equal amount of work to the trunklid to get it to flow right..a nice 3" off the top please..then again I'm kinda square..nice work on the B pillar...

I should have closed the trunk before taking the pic...its open a tad which I think is throwing things off a little.
