The green is starting to disappear. This weekend I painted the dash, installed a new 6X9 and got everything back together.

I've heard that before, got told to stick a piece of white paper on the dash and see how I go. Wonder if flakes the same...?

    Thanks guys.

As for the reflection problem, I got some light weight carpet at Wal-MArt. Glued some strip magnets from the hobby store on the under side. On sunny days I'll slip it up there and it looks like a dash mat. Then as soon as the sun goes down I will roll it up and tuck it under the seat.

I haven't got to drive it a whole lot, Saturday night, and Sunday morning. So far no need.

I'm looking at the same thing.. have it down to metal now .. but think it might really reflect .. so I'm looking at some rustolium colors myself...

Just had mine done a few months back. Looks much better with paint than surface rust. Two-tone matches the interior perfect. Still need to do some wet sanding.
