I would like to be the first to thank Reggie and the gang for a great Crawl. Even though mother nature was trying to ruin the run, all turned out well. It was a little wet at times, a couple of dead batteries, and a couple of fuel tanks that were a tad to small :D , but all had a good time. Thanks for the invite to the shops and people involved, thanks for the donuts, thanks for the pictures and memories. Great job.....:)

Jimmie Vaughn's 54 Ford at Gary Howard's..... Wow. That Jeff's Resurrections shop in Taylor was even more mind-blowing than last year. 2 '53 vettes in progress, a 38 Jag, a 1917 buick, coupla W30's, etc. etc.

Thanks Reggie, and thanks again for the BBQ yesterday, and also to the Thunderbolts for Thirsty Thursday.

Too much fun... I'm off to the Continental.

It was a great time! We even twisted Reggie's arm for one more stop after lunch and found our way over to Body Lines, Thomas' (speedaddict) new digs. Very cool! Stay tuned folks, They had one in the paint booth needing some minor work before it could be painted in a mad dash to the finish at the Round up. i will be impressed if they pull it off.

I am doing some work on the Oldsmobiles up at Jeff's and was still in Austin running around when you all visited the shop in Taylor.

All I can say, is the feeling is mutual. Everyone up at Jeff's was fired up from the massive showing of you all. Gary, one of the guys working on the '53 Vette, said he was overwhelmed by the interest everyone showed in the car.

Thanks very much for dealing with the weather and showing up to check everything out.

An excellent weekend and looking forward to next year. Thanks again.

  8. Thanks, Reggie! Meeting you was a definite highlight of my weekend in Austin, you're the real deal. I really enjoyed all you planned and I'm already looking forward to next year. Your "toy box" is simply amazing!

  10. Thanks Reggie and all the shop owners. My first Austin Crawl and I had a
    great time.

It also gave me a new favorite quote from Kool Kat.
"Do you really want to get on a Big wet Hippo??"
I'll post pictures when I get home.

  18. The pictures I promised of Kool Kat.

I always seem to have a good time in Austin, we were pretty wet by the
time we got back to Austin, but I've been wet before.

    Jerry,
Would you like to explain the side saddle riding technique.
I think Bass is off the hook for next years T-shirt
