Best way to get Pink color from this flake

    Should I use a silver base, white base or just spray it over pink base? I basicaly wnat it to look how it does in the image. I am flaking my daughter's Radio Flyer pink then I am going to try my roof in silver.

    Spray it over pink, metallic if you can.

    That is what I was thinking. That just makes sense. I'll be using a small flake size so we'll see how it turns out.

    i did my wifes 54 buick withe a pink roof, I mixes a pale pink(solid not metalic to get a better pink) shot the roof and then used abolony flake in the two coats of clear or untill i had enough flake on there. I have been custom painting for along time and I feel its the best way

    Do you think 2 oz of flake will cover a standard size wagon? I guess my real question is how much flake? Should be like 4 oz per quart and I am pretty sure I won't use anywhere near that much paint. I think I just answered my own question. :eek:
