H.A.M.B. Performance check

Threads seem to load a little slow, especially those with multiple replies or with images. Running a tracert on your IP it looks like a lot of the latency is in the hops before reaching your server, so it probably isn't anything that you guys can control and would vary with geographic location.

 

Ryan.......it's now running a bit slower than 4 hours ago....

All afternoon today the site is loading very slow, and sometimes not at all. Then page opening is slow also.

Just curious if anyone else is expieriancing these issues.

I'm on DSL.

Well it has never loaded particularly quickly for me on broadband (ADSL) over here. Usually the page opens and says "Done", with a blank brown background, then I have to wait a few more seconds until suddenly the actual topic appears. Some of this might be due to Symantec's firewall/fraud monitoring checking it before loading?

But . . . today, the second and subsequent pages of a thread have seemed to open more quickly!

 

I know it's hard to believe but, I don't have any complaints. Thanks for asking!

 

Been slow for me the last few days but I deal with it.
