Here is a '54 210 post sedan that belongs to a friend (I did the paint and bodywork for him). The rear window is out of a '50. The six has been replaced with a 327 and 5 speed stick.
Which 5 speed did he use? What about the bell housing? I'm looking to do this drivetrain combo in a 54 Chevy truck this summer. Got the 327 already but no trans.
Here's a 54 I'm just in the midst of buying: A couple of questions from a early Chevy newbie: I plan to do a "poor mans" lowering job by cutting the front coils and installing lowering blocks. How many coils do you guys typically cut to achieve a happy medium between looking bad-ass and not nailing every stone on the road? Same with lowering blocks- what size should I use? What brand/size of wide whites do you guys typically run on these Chevies. Thanks Todd
I believe it is out of a 5.0 Mustang. I know he had a lot of difficulty getting it to work with the original 6.
