I would like to try to track down one of my Dads old friends hotrods form the 60's (see pic).
I have his last name, or close to it in spelling.
You guys have any hints as to the best way to play detective, and track this car down? I cannot see anyone letting a car like this rot away...it HAS to be out there somewhere!

Put out an APB here on the hamb with his name and the area he was in, surely some of these Old tymers could help out.

You can also get on 411.com and check out names and areas....

Call CSI, they might find fingerprints and hair for DNA, match can be found on their database in two seconds.

Hey Survivor, PM me the VIN# and I might possibly be able to help. No promises, but if I can, I'll give it a whirl.

Look up Harry McAuliffe in the phone directory. Harry (Known as "Hot Rod Harry") has been involved in the Detroit area rod scene since the late '40s and still actively deals in old speed equipment. I think he knew everbody in the area who was ever involved with rods. He has a hell of a memory.

Ally, that was prolly my thread when I found the pics.

Jim, Bienecki Bros. owned a chrome shop :) Hence the chrome everything. Like I sid, I cannot see this thing rotting behind a barn, it has to be in a garage somewhere....

I tried the name in the white pages and got nothing.
