That's awesome. So what's the story behind the car or the guy?

Cool picture. Do you know any of the history that goes along with it?

He is a 90 year old local guy who still drives a 1911 Model T ford. Proves the point that heavy duty modifications started way before the 40's.

  5. We MUST have more pics of this. MUST! Make it so…

That is one of the coolest cars I've seen in a while. Looks like it would inspire GMC Bubba to go another round! Next up Jim???

    I dig it.

.....but look at it. It is a RAT ROD by today's standards.

If you clowns saw that on ebay about half of you would say something stupid like, "I just threw up in my mouth a little".

Anyhow, I dig it. I'd like some more info and pics too!
Where did you dig this pic up?

  13. I really like this hot rod...and the 33 slant grill picks up the same slant as the windshield posts....and it looks bitchin'...and the side aprons to make it look lower and the painted glossy wheels...thats just over the top too... with not a lot of refinement that car could be right at home in todays world....or leave it as is and let the critics critique....

cool car. wouldnt have thought to put a 33-4 grille on a T but funnily enough it seems to work ok. The wheels look like wooden spokes?

Those, Mr. Green are surely Model T wheels, and yes they are wood. For a much safer i.e. uses brakes as opposed to usually breaks, check out the Jumbo Wheel from Rally America. You can order them in anything from Laurel 20"x4" to a Hardy 14"x14". Plus they are alliance members to boot! But you better hurry, there is talk of discontinuing this style!

    Awesome combination.. I love it.
The 34 grille looks perfect on that body... The wheels are killer.
It amazes me the ingenuity of the boys and men back then..

What a badass car! Pretty crazy for back then. I think he should lose the ricer exhaust can though. LOL

  27. Shiney paint and actual upholstery.....I love it.
When you look at what they had to work with back then...
And then listen to the lame excuses people use today for why they don't "Finish" it...
    Makes you wonder.
Definitely want to learn about the owner and or builder.

  29. Show me that same truck a year or two later.
    I'll bet they wanted paint.
    Look at the rims....shiney.

25 years ago I drove a GS-400 in black primer (Over mismatched paint) until I could afford the paint I wanted.

I guess to support the other end of the discussion....they had lazy people back in the day also.

The amount of shiney paint here is near blinding if you not wearing rose sunglasses.
