Anyone know a good source for Ford pickup parts? I've tried Macs and Vintage Ford in Sacremento. No Luck. Same with ebay. Help me out.

  2. Dennis Carpenters Ford Parts in Concord, N.C. (may also be listed in Charlotte, NC, their right on the line of the 2 cities). They have an add in Hemmings.

Need both sides, one is really worn and the other is non existent. Also looking for a patch panel for under the tailights. Anyone know of someone parting one?? Its a 250.

you might have to try to find a used one. they should be all the same from 1948 to 1960.
as far as the patch panel. noone makes one. i had the same problem, had to make mine.
    good luck

Ok the patch panel is no prob figured id spend a few to save a few. Its an F250 so then its a Dana 44 or is it a 60? I saw someone had one listed for a 61 (not sure if it was for F100 or F250) that will work or its different. I could always make one but I'd really rather not.

  10. post a pic of the brake part if it's a 3/4 ton it will probably fit newer years besides 57-60.

If it is a F250 odds are it is a Dana 60.

I'm pretty sure it is, but not positive. It's an 8 lugger, full floating axles, and it does have a rear cover. Will this be the same as one from say the 70s or 80s?

This is a 4x4 site but it shows the different cover shapes.
I believe the rears are pretty much the same but the brakes may be different. Maybe take the piece you need to a wreaking yard and compare it. Another option is check Napa I have suprised at times as to what they can come up with.

Ok looks like it is a 60. So I ask could I go for a later model if I hit a junkyard or if I found it new?

bttt... Anything we missed? If I can't find one that will work this week, Saturday I'm gonna beat my head against a wall making one. Should be fun.
