hi all sat inside today with nothing to do to cold work in the shop . just thought i would ask how cold is were your at ?? its 19 degrees here with wind chil factor of 2 below .
Don't know about wind chill but it was -6 @ 7:30am today. Supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow today here in southern Ohio.
Lookin at the thermometer...It's 11 who cares what the wind chill is danmit...I can't wear shorts and sandals HURRY BACK SPRING!!
was 9 degrees when i left for work, no clue what the windchill was....I'll let you know when I got for a motorcycle ride later
81 for the high here yesterday, supposed to be slightly warmer today... Sometimes I'm glad I live in AZ.
My glasses were all fogged up this morning but, I think I saw a penguin run across my pond this morning! too friggin cold!!!!!
Minus 19 this morning.....wind chill of -40. Hibbing had a possible wind chill of -70 (75 miles north of here).
I'm not from there but I will chime in for any Canadian Hambers in Winnipeg as it hit -40 there yesterday so they might be too cold to answer for themselves. And yes -40 is the same in Celsius as it is in Farhrenheit.
...we had 12-15 below with wind chills of minus 30 ! Now Tuesday morning it's still 6 below and snowin like crazy, sposed to get up to 6 inches. Never saw it snow like this when it's this cold; it usually warms up to 10-15 degrees then snows. I'm ready for spring ,...or at least thawing temps.,...that would seem like a heatwave!
Spent more time trying to keep my furnace from freezing in the garage the last two days then working on the cars. -3 this morning.
Just a hint, if you have cupboards with pipes in them, on outside walls, like kitchen or bathroom sinks, leave the cupboard door open so heat can circulate around the pipes. This is my public service annoucemnt for the day.
I have relatives that were going snowmobiling in the UP of MI this week. That'll turn your outty into an inny. 50 this morning
Went into ISPAT mine in Virginia, MN. about 10 years ago when it was -51. I could not live there and don't know how anybody else can!
It's a balmy 46 here at 1030 this morning...been a bit cooler in the past - a welcome warming trend. Coldest I've ever been was Goose Bay, Newfoundland in Jan '95 - I do believe the afternoon high was -35 - not windchill, actual OAT! Overnight low was something I didn't think was possible...fecking cold, that was!
It was -10, yes -10 on my way to work this morning and sunny in Canton, Ohio. How can the sun be shining and only be -10? I've had about enough of this.....
this morning it was -2 at 7:30. Told the guy who works for me to stay home with his kid and I spent the morning in my heated garage building the frame for my upcoming project
-3 °F / -20 °C Humidity: 74% Dew Point: -7 °F / -22 °C Wind: 2 mph / 4 km/h / from the NE Officially... Too fu*king cold!
