Don't know about wind chill but it was -6 @ 7:30am today. Supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow today here in southern Ohio.

Its been below zero here for about 3 days. I want to move!

  17. Minus 19 this morning.....wind chill of -40. Hibbing had a possible wind chill of -70 (75 miles north of here).

  18. I'm not from there but I will chime in for any Canadian Hambers in Winnipeg as it hit -40 there yesterday so they might be too cold to answer for themselves. And yes -40 is the same in Celsius as it is in Farhrenheit.

Thats why i love this place, i got some work done in garage yesterday in some dickies and a t-shirt.

  20. ...we had 12-15 below with wind chills of minus 30 ! Now Tuesday morning it's still 6 below and snowin like crazy, sposed to get up to 6 inches. Never saw it snow like this when it's this cold; it usually warms up to 10-15 degrees then snows. I'm ready for spring ,...or at least thawing temps.,...that would seem like a heatwave!

Just a hint, if you have cupboards with pipes in them, on outside walls, like kitchen or bathroom sinks, leave the cupboard door open so heat can circulate around the pipes.

This is my public service annoucemnt for the day.:D

It's a balmy 46 here at 1030 this morning...been a bit cooler in the past - a welcome warming trend.

Coldest I've ever been was Goose Bay, Newfoundland in Jan '95 - I do believe the afternoon high was -35 - not windchill, actual OAT! Overnight low was something I didn't think was possible...fecking cold, that was!

It was -10, yes -10 on my way to work this morning and sunny in Canton, Ohio. How can the sun be shining and only be -10? I've had about enough of this.....
