You'd have to double check me, but I'm pretty sure Restoration Chrome sends you a freshly chromed bumper and takes your old crusty one as a core. Just in case you have sentimental reasons for wanting to keep the original bumper. I plan on using those guys as soon as the cash magically appears in my pocket!

I've never used them, but I've heard good things about QualKrom in Erie Pennsylvania. They used to have a shop in Poughkeepsie NY too, but they closed it.

  4. I use Northstar bumper out of MN. They do exceptional work. Just got a '64 Galaxie bumper back from them. under $400 with my dealer discount and it is top notch show quality. I have a pair of '65 GTO bumpers their right now and a pair of '63 Mercury bumpers heading out that way next week. Would recomend them to anyone. I don't like the "exchange" places. You can get someone's junk core when you send in a perfect one.
    Good luck.

Have you tried Pauls Chrome in PA? A little closer and they do excellent work. http://www.paulschrome.com/
