I shot the roof with silver base and rainbow flake....I didn't really dig the silver and when I hit it with the clear it blotched up the silver...so we sanded it down and I reshot it with the basecoat and cleared it with a ton of blue pearl.....striped the dash too...about ready for some glass!!!
That looks freakin great, the color is very nice, dont see many like that either. you eventually going with differant tires?
I'm thinking about switching the tires to narrow whites as the krylon just isn't stayin like I wanted it too!
i knew you'd come around! haha. i dig the blue. glad to hear i'm not the only one who had silver base get blotchy when i hit it with clear. i know my problem was i did it too quick, shooting outside with bad weather rollin in. i shoulda just stopped, but instead tried to get the clear/flake on quickly after shooting the base. tiger striped flake wasn't too cool! lookin good, lucky boy you got.
Very fine result's, indeed! What brand of paint are you using? Yes, I look to copy this color for a Paco gas tank.
The basecoat was something I threw together ..glasurit. The clear is HOK urethane enamel with ppg ice blue pearl.
