Anyone able to suggest any good shippers? It is an OT car but weighs in around 4000lbs. Probably going to need to ship some equipment with it so might be upwards of 5000 pounds. Going to be shipping from Mooresville, NC.

    Thanks,
    Primo

    Well ..

    call --1- 800- 328 - 2316 --ATS-INC.COM
speak to someone in "international" shipments

I'm sure they can help or point you in right direction

  3. Lots of folks doing it. Check Hemmings. Don't count on being able to include equipment in the auto shipment. Different rules and regulations. Also, it will probably be cheaper for the receiving party to pick the car up at the port, than to have it transported all the way to Stuttgart.

Mosey on over to Ft Bragg & ask them who ships their cars - some of those guys get stationed in Stuttgart from time to time...

Yeah, be careful with that extra stuff. In the U.S. at least, there's a whole lot of legal crap surrounding "the moving of unrelated goods inside transported automobiles" or however it goes in legal-speak. It might be safer to just ship the extra stuff seperately, depending on what it is.
