Help! engine adapters

    Hi all can anyone tell me if there is an adapter to fit a small block chevy to an early Plymouth (55) transmission and if so where can i get one..........Marq

    Considering Mopar trannys in the 50s, I'd go with a TH350, or 700R4, even though that means changing the driveshaft & rear axle.

    TransDapt used to market one (I'm sure that it's long since out of production), part number FC-51. It worked in conjunction with a stock '55-'62 Powerglide adapter ring.

    You might want to try watching on ebay for a Lakewood adapter, I bought a couple of Lakewoods Chevy to Mopar a833 4spd adapters.
