My 61 Caddy doesent have seat belts. I would have thought the fleetwood would have seat belts. My Question is what would be the best method of installing them?
are you just doing lap belts? just pull up the carpet and drill a couple holes in the floor on each side,and use big washers on the underside of the floor. i have a '61 CoupeDeVille i need to start work on pretty soon,i think it had seat belts when i got it.
You may find the seat belt anchors already in. That was about the era that Washington DC legislated that Detroit put in the anchors and next year they had to have belts. My 62 Ford wagon had the anchors in and ready to go.
I installed some lap belts in my 59. Just pull the carpet and let the drill do the work. Pretty straight forward. Now the kids car seats can come with
