I found out a few days ago that I am going to be a dad!!! My wife and I have been married for alost 7 years and we decided that was long enough to wait. We are both SO happy! Looks like I have about 9 months to get an interior in the 51 and put a baby seat in it. My wife already said she wants our first family pics to be with the 51.
Ya, Twins run in my wifes family. Her Grandma is a twin and so it one of her Aunts. She is next in line. YIKES!

Later, when we found an article about "if you meet 10 of these 40+ things, you're very likely to have twins", we noticed that my wife and I met almost all 40 - needless to say, we'll probably have twins again next time. Always carry a spare, dude. Times get tough, and you can always sell one (no one wants mine - they came from me). ~Jason
Ah kids, bundles of joy wrapped in bills that never stop coming. It's like some set off an invoice grenade in my life. I've two sons and they're the greatest thing that ever happened to me, but then again, they're not teenagers yet. Congratulations to your wife and you. Enjoy your quiet time together now, it's gonna evaporate real soon.
congrats.. i have a 9 yr old son and its been great. he hates to help work on my shoebox. he calls it a"screaming metal death trap" maybe i should of had a girl. but i still love him. i havent picked up a pice of dog shit in a year !

I've a 1 year old girl and a 3 year old boy and it's the best. Don't let anyone tell you your life's over - It's just the end of "Phase 2" and the beginning of "Phase 3" Good luck to you and your missus!
Congrats! The birth of my three children was the highpoint of my life...no one more so than the others...just high points. The youngest is now 19 and I can remember her birth like it was yesterday. You've got a very important job now. Dad is your most important obligation in the world. Enjoy.

Congrats...your world will be turned upside down. I've got two little rug rat rodders myself. Great that your wife is still supporting the hobby, but you will find that time is limited and she will be more aware than ever of how much time and when you are out in the workshop. I put in requests for "garage time" and that works for us. Lots of later nights or early mornings too. Enjoy yourselves!
Kudos, brother!! Join the club! My first one was born September 16th, but I was on a flight back over here. So it will be another 5 months before I meet my son. I can hardly wait!!! So, what's up with guys and '51 Chebbies having first kids 'round here. Do you think it's contageous? Or maybe it's a secret plot, hatched by Ryan, to dominate the world with H.A.M.B.ers!!!! Yeah, that's what it is! Enjoy these times... they'll be over before we know it! Once I'm home, we should go have a beer... new kids and '51s!
