thought you guys might get a kick out of this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5-mi...yZ140746QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
He's also got a set of those ultra rare tin big block valve covers on a Blue Light Special of only $1550. I think I've only got about three sets of those in my junk stash. That's 3 sets with the brake booster flat spot and the rocker oil drippers. Some people need to get a life, and I don't mean the seller, the STUPID buyers Frank.
That is really stupid. I want to meet the moron that pays that kind of money for used tires just so I can smack him silly.
Funny, that was the very first thing I checked. Corvette people are 10 grades wacker that hardcore Model A Ford restorers.
I hope somebody does get ripped off. Its their own damn fault. I might get some money for junk carbs, old heads and bald tires and retire.

poor guy is missing out on all the fun of ebay...listing rare crap for a buck and having the price shoot way up in the last 20 seconds of bidding....
well you know what they say, its not to much if some is willing to will pay, on a side note i think its crazy too lol
I asked him if he would buy the ones I have for a Ben so he could resell them I'm waitin for a reply.
I think "mid year corvettes" are 63 - 67.. so if those are near new tires that came on them, some wacked out corvette weenie may actually pay a bunch of money for them. if your mint original numbers matching 427 corvette is worth 100K what's 8 g's for tires?
I'm hoping a couple of them will cough up some $$$ for some stagger bolt power pack heads I have....they have the good casting numbers....
