  1. Ok, here is ours. Yep, its a fake. Got it for free and had to chop it, just too tall a stance. Family tradition is the Lionel trains around the tree. My dad used to work 2nd shift, mom was too busy cleaning the house. Boy I used to abuse those poor trains. Line the whole city up one building at a time to see how many the train could go through. Now, I let my daughters play with them when I am in the room! Times change.....Merry Christmas everybody!

Geez, what kind of MAN assembles a tree out of a box??? :)

I went to the forest to pick out my tree. Used the ax on a few and the chainsaw on the rest. I guess I don't have any pics of the monster saw though.

We have two different prelighted fake trees. It takes me about ten minutes to set them up then my wife and son decorate them. The way I see it, less time dealing with sticky tree sap and more time in the garage. Works for me anyway.

We are still looking for an 50's Aluminum Christmas Tree. My friend down in Florida found one in a dumpster still in the original box...Lucky Dog!

If you are going to have the cool aluminum tree, you also have to have the spinning color wheel behind it, although it doesn't really show in the pic.

My grandmother threw out two of those aluminum trees years ago. I really wish I would have taken those things. People are really starting to look for them now.
