bare metal/clear coat car

    looking to clear coat over bare metal on my 50 chev. Will this work? Do I need a special clear coat or need to prep the metal in any special fashion? Any info is greatly appreciated, Thanks

    Not positive, but try a product called ESP(easy surface prep). It is an etching agent. Wipes on, Wipes off, DONE! And it will make paint stick to glass, So I think It would be good for metal also.
