    I'll join in here... got 2 Comets now, a '63 S-22 hardtop and a '63 Custom convertible...

THe S-22 will be essentially stock looking, other than lowering and polished American 14 and 15"ers, and a built smallblock (it's getting the 260 from the convertible to start with to replqace teh stock 6 cyl, then a warmed over 289 when it's finished). The convert will be heavily customized...

My first car was a '62 Comet, way back in '78...

I wish there was a way of safely shipping the trim from MD back to you, as I'm not going to use any of the trim on the convertible...

Heres the one I just sold to my buddy....It has only 28k orig. miles on it. She is a true beauty queen 4 sure! So then I had to go and "F" it all up and gave er the slammy jammy and a flowmaster into bellflowers, then flaked the roof......shes a show stopper now! (theese are without the bells on)

I picked up a running 63 4dr for $150 about a month ago. Should have it driveable pretty soon.

I really like the look of the White with Red roof on the one cfish50chevy posted, maybe when it comes to re-spray time...........
Are those the stock 13" rims, I haven't lowered mine yet and the rims look REALLY small!

Same here about the white with the red roof. I think I'm going to spray mine similar to that when the time comes.

  15. I second the Comet-List. Been on it for a couple of years now. If I can only get my 66 Cyclone to look as good as that 63 of yours, your daughter's. Shame that it got wrecked. Sure glad you didn't let the insurance company push you over. I seen to many good old cars junked that way. Post on that Comet List; there's a good turn out of folks on the East Coast as well and somebody might have that part you need.

    Good luck,

My '63 Custom convertible in Cambridge England... Bought in Hermosa Beach CA 2004... driven across USA on Rt 66 to Chicago and shipped home. We're off to the Old Style Weekend in Sweden in August (2,000 mile round trip...)

More pics please. Most of these look stock. I've always like the 64's, but I have a chance to pick up a real solid (non running) 62 coupe for under a grand.
To me it doesn't have the pizzazz of the 64's, and I'd like it to have the "attitude" I remember from the 64 "caliente's"
Anyone got 62 pics that look a little more menacing?

I wish I had the money to keep every car that I find but I thought I would add this '64 to your thread. It will be for sale when I bring it home later this week. The other Comet is a 4 door.
