I know there have been a pile of requests for t pics, I am looking for one inparticular. It has been posted before and my searches came up empty. The one I am thinking of is green and the pics looked like they were taken in a studio of some sort and I think is from australia. Have I seen this car or am I dreaming up things from huffing gas? grumper
Here's a link to another pic of that car.... http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y79/Hemi31/86BU0916.jpg
It belongs to jimbob. I'd suggest contacting him. Here's his member profile... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?userid=2921

I have a couple questions about the engine.... 1.) is it a 302/5.0L? Stroker maybe? Fatory heads or aftermarket? Can you share any shortblock specs? 2.) what kind of tunnel ram intake is that? Looks like maybe Weiand. 3.) what size and type of carbs does it run? 4.) how does it run? is it dog in low rpm's or does it ramp up power nicely? Thanks. TJM
Engine is a 302, Roush heads, 30thou over, just ran good quality stuff, not rubbish, plugged $$ into the balance of all the rotating stuff. Ram is weiand. Carbs are 465 Holley. After learning my lesson about flat spots with another rammed engine I built, this time I asked different builders about what would work , including details of rolling diameter of tyres, diff gears, stall, cam, etc. When it all came together it was good. When stomped from idle it would spin through 6500 rpm easily, and go, no flat spots or bogging down.
You said you used roush heads , what length of push rods ? got a pair of these heads on a early ford 289 , stock cam and lifters and cant get the valves to adjust . it is in a highboy tub ( 1920 willys ) it is summer and I cant drive it !
