  6. Nice score Steve!Looks like you're having WAY too much fun!Ain't the weather great for it too?

Speaking of,"the 'Wolf";I just saw him on a Soundstage production a couple weeks ago.Still belting them out. Here's one for you:What was the name of his FIRST group? I have a copy of the album recorded at the Matrix in S.F. circa 1966.Also have his,"Lone Wolf "album;great stuff.

Yup..fun is the word. It sure felt good going for a spin today.

My fave Steppenwolf album is Monster....so many of the lyrics still hold true these days.....I give up on your trivia question....in 66 I was listening to American Bandstand with my older sister.

Skip....I'm gonna letter "Stupid poopie head dumbell" on the decklid....THAT oughta make those pesky yuppies cringe with fear!!!!! .....I'm the toughest automotive enthusiast on my street.

Vap.....whadda ya mean "done car"???? I worked my fingers to the bone for at least TEN WHOLE hours BUILDING this car.....All I have left to do is get the decklid lettered....(see above reply to skipstich for the "X" rated text)

You're going to sand it and put a fake patina on it after chopping it all up and putting a toyota motor in, right?

Looks like a fun ride.... put gas in it and beat the piss out of it....

  22. John Kay's band was called "Sparrow"
And contrary to popular belief, he always wore sunglasses, not because he was stoned, but because he is legally blind.

"Once the religious, the hunted, and weary,
chasing the promise of freedom and hope,
came to this country, to build a new vision,
far from the reaches, of Kingdom and Pope"

(yeah, that's just off the top of my head, I'm that old, too....)

I'd add 2 inches to the roof....

  24. Eric, Having grown up in So Cal I saw plenty of lowriders that had chain steering wheels, but never ever saw one on a hot rod.

Hatch nice find. Now give it a makeover.
