HI, name is MAC Just signed up this evening, I have a 1933 Plymouth PC 5 window coupe, had the car almost a year now, purchaced from a guy who owned since 1944, sat in storage since 1964, a little rough a little rust , but not bad, was a complete car,am building it to be a fenderless rod, this is my first attempt at a car of this vintage, all others have been 60s cars, worked in a restoration shop for 13 yrs,upholstery(65-70) mustangs, got burned out on one brand of car, quit, did not do any cars for a few years, untill lately, doing some upholstery on the side, back to my 33, almost have the whole body stripped to bare metal, thats as far as i have gotten for now. THANKS
Welcome to the HAMB, congradulations on having one of the best looking cars straight from the factory ever. Love the roofline and grille on those 33's. Let's see some pics.
You just got you a ride that I dream or getting some day. They are one of the best looking factory built cars period. Pic's would be awsome. Was this car purchased at the Portland swap meet by chance?
Hello I got the car from our new plant manager, who bought a new house and had to move, the car had just came from his storage 2 yrs prior, from the bay area in california, will have some pics soon.
'33-'34 Plymouths are great looking cars. Consider yourself lucky to have gotten a complete car, parts can be kind of difficult to find. I started with a cowl that had the windsheild cut off! I got the windsheild frame from another car and found doors here and there, I am building a roadster pickup from the pieces. Here's a couple threads to look over, the pics of my car are missing in the first one, but I am going to be doing a lot of work in the next few weeks, and will have new ones. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130521&&showall=1 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142162 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=113217
