    Hey 1Low, check out my buddy's label;http://www.dblcrown.com/

Double Crown records, out of Bellingham, WA. He has a ton of great surf bands, and some good roots/rockabilly stuff.

Some of the bands already mentioned are on there, like Satan's Pilgrims, Impala, The Phantom Surfers, Deke Dickerson, etc...

Other good labels to find this stuff are: Estrus, Hillsdale Records, Gearhead, Sympathy, and Get Hip.

not Rockabilly, not Surf but some jazz from LA circa 1943-1948.

    check out:
Pachucho Boogie on Arhoolie records, it's all in Spanish but some of the best LA jazz/bop/ boogie/ mariachi from the era.

I was just turned onto it by the guy that produced the record when I asked what a pachuco in LA would listen to if he was getting together with the boys.

Lots of good music in this thread!!

This has kept me entertained for weeks:
    http://www.pandora.com/

Just tell it a band or song you like and it plays "similar" music that you'll like. I created a group for "Reverend Horton Heat" and its amazing some of the cool tunes is plays.

    Have fun!
