Hand made. I made the base out of 16ga, it was beaten over a plywood form, I nicked the inspiration from here, I think it was choprods. The top is made out of 20ga. I hope you like it.
No swastikas, they're in vogue now. Hey Aaron I wore your shirt to last week's gay pride parade, "Hot Rods from Uranus" got some funny looks. Now I'm off to take Bondo-slinging lessons.
Ahhhh...ya had me...I loved the air cleaner...loved the car....then I re-read yer profile & got the unfortunate vision of Oprah's greased ass cheeks stuck in my head. Shit. Now what??
Exhaust pipe pieces from Discount Auto Parts, the place to get into arguments with hot tempered Latinas. The hardest part was beating the 16ga metal in the bends, shoulda gone with 20ga but I was thinking it wouldn't be strong enough. The trick is to leave the puckers in the steel and finish it smooth with a hammer and dolly. Oh here's the lid my pal Swiss Mike made for my bike's aircleaner, I know this ain't the JJ, but parts is parts.
Nads, you must have ridden the shortbus to welding school... Was it Mike's head that you used as a wooden form?
Bitchiiiiiiin'..... (There's a term for the "I must be getting old" thread...) TMAN...? Just how did that conversation come up, anyway...? JOE
Not too bad at all, ever thaught of replacing that grill with a Fordson one ? they look real nice on 33/34's....
Good luck finding a Fordson grille in America! Anglias are fairly common over here. I did have a '34 grille in it, I didn't like it too much.
Yo El Caballo, squint! Never forget that Bondo is your friend. Now my stupid fuel pump is acting up again.
It's got the '60's look and style, and I love it. I have 4 gallons of bondo waiting for application to my sedan, and your more than welcome to what's left over Your coupe is bitch'n. Where are all the guys in Florida that are into our way of cars?????
Down waiting for the local JC Penney to open............theres a today only blowout sale on Members Only jackets.
