    I got bored looking at my 1953 Chevrolet Pick up from Mira, I have wanted to do something to it in a long time!

    It looked like this to start with:

    And after I was finished ruining it, it looks like this (Now with VW bettle wheels):

    I can picture using the front fenders as hood sides and to form the grille opening. That might work!

    Jeremy Shirm from Cedar Rapids IA area built it. I am not sure but I think he started with a Revel 54 chevy. Shirm is very KOOL. He builds some awesome 1:1 stuff too. His flame jobs kick the devils ass. I told him about this site, maybe he lurks now.

    I could not resist taking a couple of photos of the Pinwood car we built for 2005, I figured you guys would appreciate it much more than most... Also included a photo of my son's 2005 and 2006 cars side by side for effect...

    There are some awesome Pinewood cars on this thread...
