It work's for me...

 

Try running non resistor, non extended tip plug's, too. Maybe 1 or 2 heat range's cooler would free up some power.

 

Little engines tend to like more total

 

Higher timing won't hurt as much in the 1/8th mile

 

Take the heavier spring out of the distributor

How much is it cooling off, weather-wise?

 

Keep upping the timing until the MPH falls off then back it off.
Are you torqueing it up against the converter on your lunch?

Watch the density altitude. Dial down a hun or two as it starts to fall.

They're in the car. These were in my pocket. I'm home now. Made probably 10 passes. Wasn't concerned about reaction time. I was in the trophy race because it was included with the test & tune. But before I left, I set it at 40⁰ total and ran another 10.71. Shifting at 6000. Does seem to float the valves above that. If it had the gears and ass to come off the line it would be much better. But I'm happy with it. Climbed in it and drove home, everybody else was putting theirs on the trailer lol. Now it's off to Bowling Green in the bomb on the 14th! Thanks for being my pit crew guys! Wish I could post pictures, but my wheels, ya know. Had a great time, and the hotdogs were awesome!
