History 1934 Ford Art Ingels Roadster Custom...Anyone remember a "Marbe's Coffee Shop", Orange Ave., in 1971

Anyone remember a "Marbe's Coffee Shop", on Orange Ave., somewhere in Southern California, in 1971?
Apparently Jake Jacobs and Tom Senter were tooling around Southern California in the Bill NieKamp Roadster in mid 1971, getting ready to go on their Cross Country trip to the Second Hot Rod Nationals in Memphis, Tennessee, in August, when they saw a 1934 Ford Roadster Custom For Sale in a Parking Lot. Well I'm guessing that Tom took these photos from the passenger seat of the NieKamp Roadster, before they took off on the trip...an adventure that was so beautifully described in the Fall 1971 Rod & Custom Magazine Article entitled "The Summer Saga of the J-Kamp Roadster." In the one photo you can see what looks to be part of the passenger side of the interior (the Dash maybe?) of some kind of an Open Car (Roadster?), and a Large Sign on a Building across the street that says, "Marbe's Coffee Shop". You can also see in the same photo a Street Sign that says, "Orange Ave.". Does anyone remember this Business, or this Car?

Marbe's Coffee Shop was located at 7010 East Rosecrans Avenue in Paramount CA (South of Los Angeles and north of Long Beach). Marbe's was on the southeast corner of East Rosecrans Avenue and Orange Avenue.

PNJ on the license plate was a foreshadow for Jacobs' Pete and Jakes...

 

Now how in the Hell were you able to Blow Up that photo to the point where you can clearly see the writing on it?

And since you are so good at those photo hacks...please tell me what I'm looking at in that photo that was taken from inside the car!
