I was at a local salvage yard and they let me walk around. They have alot of old cars. This is one i am not surebi have seen before.
Amazing how small they actually are in person... I found two in upstate South Carolina and they were both in worse condition than that one.
Cooley's Truck & Auto Wrecking Address: 1230 S 82nd Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54703 Hours: Closed ⋅ Opens 8 AM Phone: (715) 832-7163 They have alot of 40, 50, and some 30's.
I think that's a 1941 because of the parking lights on top of the front fenders. But 40-41 look almost identical.
With the grille gone it does make it confusing, but the parking lights should make it a '41 as Dan said. Can't remember what the details were on those two in SC, they were barely recognizable
They stop a lot better than Early Ford brakes. They are self-energizing. I had them on my 39 sedan. World of difference over the 39-48 Ford Lockheed style brakes. They are available aftermarket, so not of sure the savings of restoring some crusty originals.
This belongs to a guy in my little town. The T-Top Trans Am just above the Lincoln hood is his, too. Gary
25 posts, and no-one has realised it's a Dodge that some customiser has added Continental badges to. @VANDENPLAS would be ashamed of us. Cheers, Harv
Well I didn’t have a clue and didn’t zoom in on the pics. So I have an excuse of not seeing the badges. But I think @mcmopar has some explaining to do since he was up front and personal with it
Literacy is a beautiful thing. Heck you don't even need to read all the letters if you know what your options are. Not like Lotus was making cars in that era. That's the kind of attitude you need to get a business off the ground.
