This winter in West Michigan has been a strange one to say the least. It seems like lately that we get a couple of decent days twords the tail end of the week, and like this weekend it turns to shit. All weekend it was blowin and howlin, in the 30s and raining.
I think I got more work done when it was sunny and a foot of snow on the ground then I was able to in this miserable crap.:D

...Every year we tell these guys to think about changing the name of the show. T-shirt sales might improve if they didn't say "Coming Out" on them!!!:D

My brother just sent me a poster for a combined drag races and car show. Says in huge letters on it "Drag/show". It struck me as not the most brilliant advert considering the news nowadays.... Lol.

And I'm in southern central MI. It's never safe to come out this time of year. Who knows what mother nature will do next. It also seems many counties are trying to use up their allotment of salt, so if it even flurries they're dumping a ton of salt everywhere on the roads, which is idiotic...

Went with the car club last night to another town to eat. It was in the 50`s. Left the car outside last night to go to a breakfast this morning. It was sleeting. Didn`t take it. Had to put it away.

Reminds me of stopping on Ru Pauls Drag Race for the first time while channel surfing the other night. Whoa! That's not about cars!

Why would you worry about something like that?

It was a snowy winter, but not a cold one. I don't think this snow stuck around more that a week or so.

We've had more rainy days than I can remember here, and snow, lot's of it, up in the mountains, record level amount. I'm done with it, ready for normal Spring weather. We had a real nice weekend, but I think they're calling for another storm to blow in mid week, bringing more rain.

Yup, there is over 60-feet of snow on the ground in some places.

A few resorts are partially or completely closed, because they cannot operate lifts.

Several others are planning on extending the season to the 4th of July!

IMG_20230224_130143.jpg It's all gone now, but this is about 20 Miles from San Francisco in the end of February. I just pulled my 59 ElCamino out of the garage for the first time this year on Saturday . The pics of Pleasanton look nice, but Ive been so busy with storm damage I have had no time to play. I did enjoy the cold sunshine as I put the Elcamino back to ready status. IMG_20230224_132842.jpg

The state is managing, but we're really not set up for this:

The snow laboratory, early last week:

Bear Valley, two-weeks-ago (likely fully burred now):

It is going to be hell toupee when this melts.

Everyone complains about the weather, but nobody does anything about it. Also we do not host threads on the Hamb concerning the weather.....
