Event Coverage GoodGuys 2023 Spring Nationals - Scottsdale Is Callin'

Thought I’d start a thread with early reports from the Scottsdale event.
Friday:
I got there fairly early but it was already 3/4 full. Parked near the swap meet near Judy and Chip's truckster:

 

It was a gorgeous day.

 

Took a short walk around "The Bowl". A little custom and lotsa pink:

The grey on this one was so subtle...

THIS one was running an Olds 303...brain drain...

 

I'm getting the '55 striped!

A kinda scrubby...er, "well used" '32 phaeton for sale...hard to read the sign but I think it said 32,500 OBO.

 

I didn't even notice that this was a cabrio when I shot this! Focus, dude, focus...

Last one for today...my broken-down body made me quit earlier than I thought it would.

This is a barn-find jewel. @Hot Rod Ron (inthe far left in the green hat) had his awesome '32 coupe which he brought back from a flake of rust and sheer willpower, has the story on this way-cool Model 40.

Read it again. I said that Ron is at the far left with his '32, I didn't say the car in the image was a '32, but I edited the text to be more clear to people.

Saturday:
First batch for today. I really liked the roof on this '53.

 

Followed this guy in...'56 more-door hardtop.

 

White-walls on mags aren't my thang, but I'm glad it tickles someone's fancy.

 

I missed the opportunity to shoot this one yestidy, but since we both were back, here 'tis.

 

LOT'S of Chevy longroofs here, and most of the "other" brands had big hoops which made me unable to do side views. A Buford for your pleasure:
