Technical Unique tires

    I snagged a pair of used up but wicked cool looking tires 7.50x17 going to be rollers on the wires- neat.

    Call them "Busy Walls" seen them somewhere! Granted they for sure are truly unique.

    Those were hot shit on bigger cars, L-29 Cord, select Packard and Cadillac styles. Several other good lookers too. Check out these boots:

    I believe that was Weymann bodied. Low rooflines, leather/composit instead of paint sometimes were some hallmarks.

    Back on topic those sidewalls above are pretty snazzy.

    Also, I recall, I think, a Cooper Tire version that had checkered flag sidewalls all the way around.

    Check the length of the L-29 Cord hood, was the louver press operator commissioned for normal hoods only ?

    That was a styling choice, they're all like that. The engine stops right about where the louvers do, everything forward of that is the front wheel drive trans and axles.

    But that aside let's see some more kool tires, any era...:)

    The 1929-30 Chevy was likewise short on hood louvers, part of some bargaining unit. ???
