Frank I remember you, maybe from LISRA surely from East Coast Rod Runs. I was in Vintage Tin of LI.
Is that your original car? I had a yellow 40 Willys coupe then a maroon 36 Willys 4dr sed. during my time with the club. Welcome to HAMB.

Here's a name(hope I'm thinking about the correct guy) I haven't read about in a very long time. Glad you're back. Always liked the 3w, esp the interior. Sadly read about its' demise decades ago, & some kind help you received from the rodders. Never found out what happened to you after the incident, much less what you replaced the 3w with. Did you rebuild it, is that the current pic? For some reason I'm thinking that pic is the orig version. ??? Might you have any more pics of orig & current, if it's around? To me, that was a timeless hotrod. :) .

Nice ride. Am I seeing a 350-455 Olds there?

  15. 1st thing I spotted was the dual quad Olds, then those cool tires!

    Hello,

Nice coupe...But, a small thing had to go, to be a better looking hot rod. IOHO... And, not a street rod from the 70s-80s. Also, perhaps a smaller front tire would be a nicer proportioned coupe stance.

At least you have it to enjoy driving it around... Maybe ask our resident expert @themoose to do the smaller tires in front and smoother flowing headers that run lower under the edge and not in the burn area. YRMV

I haven’t seen those Parnelli Jones tires in 40 years! Love it! That’s the style hot rod I remember from my youth. My kind of traditional!

Sweeet ride.....wouldn't change a thing BUT.......
With the tire set-up you have 'I think' it needs a taller and wider rear tire.
I sure would like a ride in ti !!

I’m not familiar with what’s going on here but it looks like dude appears from hibernation, only to have his ride judged and get pressured to share some personal details.
