I have a Hurst 3 speed Dual Pattern Synchro/Loc Shifter for my 56 Ford Victoria with a T85 with Overdrive transmission.
I need the install kit 290-6153 which is the kit for a BW T85 3 speed overdrive Transmission.

At the very least I need the mounting brackets #1584, #1585 and #1614.

Also the Shifter Arms #1618 and #1619

And finally the Shifter Rods #1588 and #1589 and twp button for the shifter rods

I realize these part numbers are from around 1965 or so, but I am hoping they would transfer to a new number maybe to a same part number that was also used in the 4 speed linkage.

If you don’t have any of these parts could you direct me to someone who might Please.

Thank you very much for your time.

I couldn't find a shifter for the OD trans so I bought a 3 spd Hurst mechanism at the swap meet cheap and made my own mount, levers and rods. It's not that hard and it lets you put the shifter where you need it.
The levers are cut from 3/16' plate and welded to collars from the hardware store with set screws to hold them. The rods are random rods from the swap meet cut and welded into tubing.

  6. If anyone has something that would help it would be Scott @ The Shifter Doctor. He is in Rock Hill SC. I was there this morning getting pieces to complete a 4 speed install in my 62 Galaxie. He has a lot of new and some old parts. I do not know how much 3 speed parts he would have.
