On my coupe I will use ”pegamoid’ roof.
First I did not like it ( was into a steel top Walden roof ) but now I’ll just love the look and a must for my build to get the old look.

-What was the correct structure ?
I heard here in Sweden it was some decades ago older and local shops that had old material used on ex Fiat etc but my guess this shops ( material ) is all gone.
I guess structure is little special, and not as vinyl/leather.

I was going to say I was not shore on the correct name.

  5. Geez, now I got "Peg of My Heart" stuck in my head (edit: NUTS- couldn't find a recording of the Ink Spots singing it)

"Peg O' My Heart" has to be played by the Harmonicats, nothing else does it.
Play it from the rooftops! Don't stand on the Waldon...

I used sunbrella canvas (a marine product) over molded plywood but now I'm feeling a strange, and probably sinful, desire for some pegamoid.....
