Probably should buy a mini starter from hot heads. especially if you have a built hemi.

I used a 1992 Dodge 318 starter as recommended by Wilcap, who made the adapter still working well after 14 years of service on my 58 354 truck block.

That gear reduction starter for the 92 318 isn't much if any larger than a junky aftermarket mini starter.

And I used a BB starter on my 727, not much difference in size, more oomph.

Are you replacing stock items? If you are just have them rebuilt. I may even have one

The peanut starter will not fit/work on an oem 392 package.

I wonder if that will work with the stock transmission set up

Finding a good one may be tough but they are rebuildable so a core may be the route to go.
