    been a while since the last update..
    Got the chassis plumbed, the front brakes back from chrome and built up. Various chassis details buttoned up.

    meanwhile the body got shipped out for final wet sanding and top coat, underneath inside and outside
    It’s now back waiting to go back on

    Such an awesome hotrod! So many nice details, it has a mean stance! Details such as the roll bar & spring leaves make sense when the thinking & background are explained. It these Details that set the car apart! I am looking forward to seeing the body in paint :D

    Next up was the engine, ‘51 long bell housing 331.
    Basic specs
    .060” over
    354 crank (old one was scrap)
    Molnar rods
    Ross pistons 10:1
    All the hotheads mods, oil pump, balancer, water pump etc.
    354 heads 2.02” inlet 1.75” exhaust, ported and polished
    Isky solid lifter cam B777 I think
    Ali flywheel and McLeod clutch
    Lasalle side shift trans
