    Hello,

As the months roll by in So Cal, it is getting hotter and hotter here in So Cal. We are near the coastline, so for us it is hot, but not as hot as the…inland areas. My hat is off to those folks in the hotter So Cal areas. So, in order to help us cool down while sitting in front of our laptops or home computers, I dug up an old Ektachrome color slide photo of one of the best 1932 Ford Phaetons around.

Out right photos are nice, but photos for screen savers are to load onto your home computer, laptop or just about any device. A shot of the said hot rod on a home computer or laptop screen is always nice for everyone to see what it looks like for you, daily. Sometimes it is hard to configure for the best effect, but eventually, it looks good to anyone looking at your device.

We do not have A/C, but our house is situated with the insulated wall against the traveling sun, making the inside rather cool for us. In the hottest days 85+ in our coastal area, we might need a little table fan for some cooling. But, the ocean breeze usually takes care of some of the heat.

Since I changed over the screen saver on our home office computer, my wife says while it is on, it actually makes her cooler while she is on her own computer, nearby. The power of suggestion works well, if you want it to work.

Not just a photo, as we have seen millions here on several threads, but a nice photo on a home computer screen or laptop defines the "HAMB Worthy Screen Saver Photos."

I keep this color photo on as the computer monitor screen saver during the hot summer months as a reminder that So Cal does get snow. With the cool feeling in the air when we go for our daily walks with the little dog, it adds the atmosphere that we enjoy in our neighborhood. There are several cool sounding hot rod motor sounds that permeate the air on some days. As they fire up and roll down the streets, it is a wonderful hot rod sound and memory of days gone past. Screen savers help control those memories.
