Just watched "The Rip Van Winkle Caper", and it had a couple of neat cars, one being the Ford panel truck in the cave with the protagonists for their 100 years sleep. But the last vehicle was supposed to be current in 2061. I wonder if it will actually represent what will be on the roads then... I like the windscreens.
Maybe it'll be a trend in 30 years, to build retro 1950s futurist cars? pretty cool looking machine.. Those folks had more imagination than most of the futurist car builders.
Cool, that was 1st a prop made for a 1956 movie. { The Forbidden planet } Also here's a tin toy from that movie. Robbie the robot sit in the front as the driver. {Robby Space patrol}
On the first picture, with the shape of those air screens I bet it could blow alot of wind up her skirt at 60mph!! .
I came in about the middle of the guy that hit a kid and killed him and his 55 or 56 ford was haunting him and drove him to the police station. Don't know the name of the episode. Had the exhaust moved back and looked like someone was driving it from the engine compartment. lol
It's always interesting to see what people thought the future of vehicles would be. Like the Gene Winfield car used in Star Trek. And someone who is good with these computer things, how about Buck Rogers stuff. I'm starting to get a handle on computers...
"Imagine that, he offered this to me as if it was really worth something" ***he says while holding a gold bar*** The planet wasn't the only thing forbidden......
Season 1 episode 7 "The Lonely" As a prisoner on an uninhabited planet, Cory is given a 1932 Ford touring as a project to help fill his time. But Alicia, his humanoid robot friend may have filled his time even better.
That's my problem with deuce's, too many of them. Empty planet, no people, no animals, just a fembot and a damn 32 ford.
