One of these years the planets will align and I'll be able to attend this, maybe even in an appropriate vehicle! Always looks like a blast, even with the various trials and tribulations that occur during one of these things.
That is one of those things that looks easy until you actually try it. Congratulations to all our guys who gave it a shot. -Abone.
That is a true statement. I pulled my trans to replace the throw out bearing in the parking lot of the Indiana welcome center on the first day, then replaced the trans the next night in the hotel parking lot. It was a hell of a year up to Dragweek also with this truck. By the time I made it there, I was on my 3rd motor in my truck, in 2 months, and one broken leg on my puppy dog after he got under my wheel of my truck. That was 20 minutes after the first motor seized up on break in. It was a great time finally making it there and finishing. Tony
By rules (1928-1948) @squirrel was not eligible for this class. I'd let him in, but I didn't write the rules.
There's already a thread about my car in the magazine. I wanted another thread for the Hot Rods....they deserve it...
Real hot rods in Hot Rod Magazine. Cool. Here's to all who have the balls and the know-how and the willingness to break their shit and everything else it take$ to go fast.
