One more unloved Chev in Israel. Only a four door but still a shame.

The Model C and the almost identical Model CX that followed it here in Oz were also available (in Oz) in roadster, roadster utility and panel delivery van form; as well as four door sedans. From what Mum tells me, my parents had a CX roadster, but I have no memory of it (too young).

Front axle and wheels almost certainly from my parents' CX roadster; headlamp support; the axle and wheels are photographed on corrugated iron but they have been sitting outside on the ground for possibly 60 years: the corrosion on the rim is the result ... the plate welded to the axle suggests that Dad might have used this axle and wheels under a trailer. 034.JPG 033.JPG 035.JPG

Are they full sized or scaled down a fraction?

"Are they full sized or scaled down a fraction?"

The C and CX are significantly smaller than their V8 big brothers; it's the same with the Model Y (the model before the C): it looks like a 1934 V8 Ford, but is a lot smaller. Think of the Anglia (Gasser Anglia).

(The Model C coupe above was for sale. The seller was asking $8,000 [Australian]. I don't know what it sold for.)

I had a 1964 Falcon (XM) ute back then. Dad had a 1968 Falcon ute (221?). Not sure where this spare engine came from.

  27. Yeah I actually know where that one is. There’s a whole yard full of stuff over there hidden away since the old couple died as well.
