I sold him some pistons and boxed rods for a 354 back in 87. Ran in to him at CHHR 2001, he said they were still hanging on the wall. Fun guy, I never knew he crashed the Sanchez Stude at B-ville.

Bruce Larson's "Mr. Clean" replica sitting downstairs at his barn in dauphin, Pa. I saw it there last Saturday.

 

That is a replica that Bruce built using a body that showed up at the York NSRA meet several years ago.

Is that what happened to the Belmont Sanchez Stude? That was one mean looking Studie, I always wondered where it went. You know the Pisano Bros Stude is still around, still as raced way back when. It was in the warehouse where my Stude pickup was.

 

Bob, I told Harold "I didn't know you drove Beachball's Stude", his reply was," I flew that Stude" ! He did get some serious air, before crashing down.

 

Hey @40ragtopdown where did you get that picture? I own that car ( more or less... the body and a few more parts)

I found that picture on one of the internet old hot rod sites. I've been looking back through them trying to find it. Haven't had any luck yet. If I do find it I'll let you know. Do you happen to have any pictures of what the car looks like today? If you do I would sure like to see them.
