From 1954; well before I got it in 1984. I was gonna keep it forever... then I got the chance to buy a really creatively built 39 Chevy coupe. Still have the Chevy; wish I still had the Ford, too!
That's my problem; I want them all!!
I know none of y'all are like that.:D

No, the pictures were shot by a guy named Clint Thompson. He goes as BadForm on the HAMB. Last seen, 2-2017, Nice guy, loves those black and white pictures, plays a mean Strat. Even made me look ok !!

  28. The best I got is this faded Polaroid of my '34 Ford circa 1967. Had the drivetrain out of a totaled '62 Super Sport, 409-409, 4-speed, 4,11's. This thing would haze the tires through all four gears. One afternoon, northern Wisconsin, I see my grandfather in his first series '55 Chevy pickup pulling a flat trailer stacked so high with bales of hay that there're leaning over at the top doing about 30 35 mph. I got up next to him and pulled it down to second and paced him for a little while. I rolled into the gas, went through the three top gears, up over the hill and turned into his drive. I stopped in the yard, leaned on the car having a cig when he pulls in. He stopped next to me, snagged about a three footer of chaw and says "Shit, you better get rid of that thing, she's burnin' oil like a son of a bitch."
