    I found these pictures on an old 'Zip' drive. I know some of them came from the H.A.M.B. but others may be from my old dial-up days.

    Even if you've seen them before they're fun to look at.[ 6546.jpg 54656.jpg 55446++.jpg 61132.jpg 66251.jpg 66994p.jpg 99531.jpg 456578.jpg 546546.jpg 564646.jpg 691132.jpg 876783.jpg 4565463.jpg 5354486.jpg 6661511.jpg 45654633.jpg

    Great pics Dave, I can relate to a few of them. My first time to the drag strip was in a 62 Chevy 4 speed, dual quad, posi traction 409. The car was brand new and at the track I saw a whole bunch more of them racing. We popped the hubcaps off put the Atlas Bucrons on and opened the dumper caps. I was hooked. I saw Charlie Hills "Filthy Forty" at a Div. 1 race around 63 and when it stood up on it's back bumper I went nuts having never seen a wheel stand like that before. Thanks for the memory lane trip.

    12 plugs on an inline 6. I'd like to see the other side of the engine.

    The shot of the flywheel carnage in the tri-5 Chevy, I have looked at that picture for over 50 years, and never noticed the Hilborn fuel pump. Must have been driven off the magneto, similar to this. P1010064.JPG

    The Spaldings built ignitions, and used a 12 cyl cap, not sure why. Pat had one in the Roadster I built him. Pat 37.jpg

    It's always interesting to see the car photos a guy collects as that gives you some insite as to what his real automotive interests are. A person would go nuts tryiing to figure mine out though as I like way too many styles of motor vehicles.
