Saw this pop up and thought the same! Excited to see what he does with it and happy he’s close enough that I’m likely to see it in person. good luck on your upcoming travel, seems it’s always feast or famine so take the adventure when it’s there I say! Then when your turning pages of little books look out at snow at your moms house you know you didn’t leave anything on the table and can enjoy the break. looking forward to it all!
Here's another vintage (circa April 1958) slide of the car: Check out that bitchin' Black & Yellow Tuck n' Roll interior!
Joey, thanks for the write up on my new 32. I'm not planning on changing much other than loosing the Appliance wire wheels and 30 year old white letter tires for now. I have a nice set of bent spoke Kelsey Hayes that I am considering along with some big and little black wall Firestones. Maybe a dropped headlight bar, and an adjustment in stance. I pulled all the carpet out of the car to do a thorough cleaning and was blown away by how nice the body was. It does not appear to have ever had a patch panel! I have a few more old slides of the car to share. It looks like he used the car as daily transportation while in college. I was able to zoom in on a pic and noticed the Kansas Jay Hawk mascot on the window parking pass!
Maybe I missed it above but who was the young lady and what was the little pup's name? Love the car as it is but I agree the light yellow and red wheels were a good look!
Oops, just realized, yellow is old old version, forget/ignore bumper comment. That is what happens when read over a couple days & your old
I like the yellow version with the 1951 Ford steering wheel and door handles. Those red wheels look like they were made by ERTL the toy company, I've never seen them before. Nice to see a Hot Rod so well cared for. Happy trails Joey on your next adventure.......
Funny you should say that. I'm such a nerd on tracking the history of this crap that I looked up the address that was on the original title from 1954. Boom... There is the house!
