When installing my new Neal Jennings Hudson/Ford steering box in my '33 Ford, I discovered that the primary tubes in the existing headers were badly rusted and in need of replacement. I ordered what I, at a glance, thought was a similar product. The rear tube of the new header is routed toward the front of the engine, when my application needs it to be routed toward the rear - in order to have any hope of clearing the original style steering box. I'm curious what others with similar applications are using. I've found multiple ads for different style headers, but none show photos of the headers installed in a '33/4 Ford car or truck. I would appreciate recommendations from others with similar applications.
I have the cast iron Fenton repros in avatar car, They just barely clear the stock steering box by 1/8 ".
Build your own to fit around your non-standard combination of parts? What you're needing wouldn't be overly complex to fabricate.
Red's Headers makes a header for an F100 steering box in a 32-34 Ford. I have used them in several 32 builds and they work great with Nash, Hudson or my new boxes. See link below: https://reds-headers.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=702
