. Fresh build but I can't keep em all. Built from a rust-free real steel Henry '31 Model A roadster. First-class construction with excellent detailing throughout. This is a HOT ROD, not a street rod, so your wife probably won't like it...but your buddies will! Full build was documented so there are no surprises. Price is firm. Might be interested in an unfinished roadster project car trade-in plus cash. I don't need pen pals, so please respond only if you are seriously interested in buying it. Thanks! (Click on each images to make it larger to appreciate the detailing.) . PM with phone number and I'll call you back. Thanks!
No frills, no fancy stuff. Genuine Ford steel body, racecar style interior, three deuces, 5-speed and a nasty cam. Just a serious hot rod with first-class workmanship, proportions and attitude. Still could be yours. (This photo was taken before the car was completed and still lacks a couple of finishing details)
If you like to drive slowly and invisibly, this ISN'T the car for you. The strong Mustang 302 HO motor, 5-speed stick and wicked cam make it quick. The Smithy mufflers and Pinup Red paint make it an attention-getter for sure. Not for the faint of heart. Could be yours! (This photo was taken before the car was competed and shows a couple of details that were not finished at the time.)
If you are seriously thinking about buying a hot rod roadster be sure to check the details and quality of the build, not just the price - especially if it's an owner-built car. If the seller is honest he will tell you every detail of the car, illustrated with lots of photos taken during the build. If he can't or won't, beware. There are a lot of "iffy" owner-built hot rods being bought and sold these days. They look great in photos and from a distance, but when you get up close they just aren't what you expected. I am very proud of this car and would be happy to talk with serious potential buyers and provide quality photos of every step of the build. It's a really good car, well worth the price I'm asking.
Gennie steel '31 Ford Roadster, '32 Frame with tubular K-member, Ford 302 HO motor with three 2-bbl carburetors, Tremek T5 5-speed transmission, Ford Mustang 8.8 rear with 3.80 posi gears, bright red with black interior. Nicely appointed and carefully detailed throughout. What's not to like! Still available at a very reasonable price.
This is not your run-of-the-mill sissy street rod, it's a real hot rod in every sense of the word. It's not stupid fast or stupid loud, but completely satisfying when you run through the gears just for the fun of it, even with nobody else around...
Bump to the top. Cool Fall roadster weather is almost here. THIS is the perfect car in which to bomb around the countryside in search of new sights...or eats! It's a kick in the pants to drive!
Still available. Hot and ready to rumble! Could be yours! ICYMI: I will consider unfinished '28 - '32 roadster projects as partial trades for this finished car. Steel or glass w/ pro-built chassis please. (Thanks, but no other trades will be considered.)
The really hot weather is over for the year, and roadster weather is here at last! Here's the perfect car with which to enjoy it. Still available!
